The tier I exam is scheduled to be in either February or March of 2023.

Negative marks for the SSC CHSL tier I exam?
Every wrong answer will cost you half a mark (0.50 mark) in the SSC CHSL exam, and you will be awarded 2 marks for every correct answer.

Every wrong answer will cost you 1 mark in the SSC CHSL tier II exam, and you will be awarded 3 marks for every correct answer.

How much does it cost to apply for SSC CHSL?
- Fee payable: Rs 100/-(Rs one hundred only).
- Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Persons with benchmark disabilities (PwBD), and Ex-servicemen (ESM)eligible for reservation are exempted from payment of a fee.
- You can pay fees online through BHIM UPI, NetBanking, or by using Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, RuPay Credit or Debit cards or in cash at SBI Branches by generating SBI Challan.
- Candidates can pay the online fee up to 05-01-2023 (23:00 hours).

Is it mandatory to pass all tier II sections?
Yes. All candidates must pass all sections in the tier II SSC CHSL exam.
Does the tier I mark count towards deciding my rank?
No. Tier I mark does not affect your rank in any way, so tier II’s function is to decide if you qualify for tier I.
